The exterior of the mall is designed with graphic patterns that combine with architectural elements to create "Mills" brand presentation. Each mall entrance is designed with a unique feature. This is intended to help the customer recognize the locations of the mall entrances, but also to remember where they entered the building. Entrance number six -- DISCOVER -- is the main entrance on the south side of the mall and a tribute to the center's naming rights partner, Discover Card. DISCOVER is spelled out in whimsical sculptural letters that act as a larger-than-life portal into the fantastic world of Discover Mills.

Inside, the "Georgia Style Neighborhood" features contemporary elegance. It's a fashion oasis comprised of upholstered benches and dramatic chandeliers of mirrors and lights. Sports and music annex areas are located in the "Georgia Walk of Fame"SM neighborhood. Each features rotating exhibits filled with memorabilia, photographs and video footage on loan from the larger Georgia Music and Sports Halls of Fame located in Macon, Georgia. The Georgia High School Sports Court celebrates local high school athletes. The "Coca-Cola Polar Palace" is an interactive fantasyland for kids, allowing families to play and rest alongside the lovable Coke Polar Bears.
