 Woodmont East represents the fourth phase of Federal Realty's
mixed-use development at Bethesda Row. This pedestrian-friendly project
includes 78,000 sq. ft. of office space above 52,000 sq. ft. of retail
and restaurant space.
Because this part of Bethesda Row was being constructed from the ground up, special attention was paid to the design and layout in order to make the building fit with the style of the community. It was especially important to seamlessly integrate Woodmont East with the three previously completed phases of Bethesda Row and make the building seem as organic as possible. Federal Realty carefully evaluated the
community to identify elements that were needed to make this
neighborhood shopping area complete. Distinctive shops with
individually designed storefronts, local specialty retailers, unique
restaurants, outdoor dining areas and a 35,000 sq. ft. subterranean art
screen cinema are all a part of this exceptional building.
