SADI Eligibility Requirements

Eligible Entrants

Any architectural or design firm, retailer or developer responsible for the design of new or renovated retail stores, shopping centers or restaurants.

Eligible Projects

Projects completed between July 1, 2010-June 30, 2012, may be submitted for judging. Eligible projects include:

Retail Stores
• Specialty Stores
• Department Stores
• Entertainment Retail (i.e. cinemas)

Centers
• Enclosed Centers
• Open Centers
• Neighborhood/Community Centers
• Strip Centers
• Power Centers/Lifestyle Centers
• Outlet Centers
• Entertainment Centers
• Mixed-Use Projects (must contain a retail component)

Restaurants

Entrants and projects located outside of the United States are also eligible. Please note that all entry contents must be written in English and that entry fees must be paid in U.S. dollars.

International Projects

Projects submitted in previous SADI Award contests are ineligible unless substantial changes have taken place. The responsibility of demonstrating these changes belongs entirely to the entrant.
