Green Banking

Jul 1, 2008 12:00 PM

Seattle-based architecture firm Callison worked with the U.S. Green Building Council to developed two new models designed for retailers: LEED for Retail and LEED Portfolio. LEED Retail establishes a set of criteria for the retail world while LEED Portfolio is aimed at helping retailers and high-volume builders to certify all projects once an initial prototype has been cleared. Under the new program, Callison got a new Wachovia prototype LEED Silver Commercial Interiors certification. The bank will open 300 LEED-certified branches by 2010.
