 Bass Pro Architects pay tribute to the great outdoors with
Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. The store boasts a 30,000-gallon aquarium
housing indigenous species with opportunities for professional casting
demonstrations; an indoor archery range; and an indoor 43' natural
climbing wall. These features create excitement, bring outdoor
environments inside and provide opportunities for product testing in
technically appropriate environments.
An array of interior structures and
custom-designed, artisan-produced elements strategically placed
throughout the store provide numerous destinations, create a sense of
discovery and draw customers through the space. Unique case work and
specialty fixtures display products, and custom designed steel
chandeliers add interest. Changes in volume range from the high
clerestory, full of natural light, to the intimate and self-contained
Fly Shop.
