JPRA ARCHITECTS

Sep 1, 2003 12:00 PM

JPRA Architects enters its 25th year of business still focused on its core success of service to the retail industry. Our projects include new and renovated super-regional malls, value, lifestyle, Main Street retail developments, tenant stores, restaurants, and food courts. JPRA's projects have won recognition from the AIA, ICSC, and ULI. Work has been completed or is ongoing in 22 states, Canada, the United Kingdom, South America and the Middle East (UAE).

One of the firm's most recent projects, The Mall at Millenia in Orlando, Fla., is a 1.2 million-square-foot, high-fashion center, which has already become a new icon in the retail sector and is fast becoming a tourist must-see. Years of retail planning experience have led to several Main Street commissions. Recently completed is the 375,000-square-foot The Village of Rochester Hills, in Michigan.

Another new town project, in the planning phase, is a 700,000-square-foot development in Indianapolis. Although regional developments have slowed, JPRA Architects is completing designs and documentation for NorthLake, a new, two-level 1.2 million-square-foot enclosed mall in Charlotte, N.C.

Jim Ryan, president of JPRA, states, “The firm continues to attract clients whose projects require the knowledge and understanding of complex programs, timetables and budgets. Our response to them is to seek out that special solution that provides lasting and escalating value for the developer while becoming an accepted landmark for the community.”
