SADI Judging and Scoring

A panel of judges made up of retail design experts will judge and score the entries according to the following official objectives:
Construction Problem Solving (Up to 10 points)
The degree to which design and architectural elements were used to meet
the goals of the design mission and to overcome structural,
environmental, demographic and/or budgetary challenges.
General Aesthetics (Up to 10 points)
The creation of an attention-getting design that balances creativity
with user-friendliness and/or consumer appeal.
Image-Building (Up to 10 points)
The degree to which all the design elements work together to convey a
project's image, theme and/or positioning strategy.
Implementation (Up to 10 points)
The level of expertise demonstrated in the execution of a project.
The judges and Retail Traffic staff reserve the right to
re-categorize or disqualify entries as well as to adjust a category
classification when deemed necessary. The judges and Retail Traffic
staff also reserve the right to decide if no award will be presented
in a category. All decisions are final.
