BACK TO ROOTS RETAIL
“Developers are reaching back to the roots of Main Street retail to provide environments that are engaging in themselves while adding back services and uses that are typical of traditional urban centers, for instance civic buildings, supermarkets, housing, and offices,” says Kevin Nice, associate principal.
Current Arrowstreet projects that reflect these trends include Patriot Place, a mixed-use development adjacent to the New England Patriots' football stadium; Smith Haven Shopping Center on Long Island, N.Y., a lifestyle center addition as well as renovation, and the new L.L.
