2001 Leaders in Retail Architecture

Sep 1, 2001 12:00 PM

Part visionary, part social commentator and part businessman, today's retail architect must respond to rapidly changing trends and expectations. But today's retail architects do more than simply respond to the evolving marketplace — they help shape it.

This fourth annual “Leaders in Retail Architecture” supplement to Shopping Center World recognizes the tremendous contributions being made by the architectural community to the shopping center environment. The 19 firms showcased in this supplement play a leading role in that effort.

My thanks to the following sponsor firms:

  • Arrowstreet
  • Artech Design Group
  • Beame Architectural Partnership
  • Belluschi/OWP&P Architects
  • Butler Rosenbury & Partners
  • Callison Architecture
  • Carter & Burgess
  • CMH Architects
  • Dorsky Hodgson + Partners Inc.
  • FRCH Design Worldwide
  • JPRA Architects
  • KA Inc. Architecture
  • MBH Architects
  • MCG Architecture
  • Nadel Architects
  • Omniplan Architects
  • Perkowitz + Ruth
  • RTKL Associates
  • Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback & Associates

Without their generous support, this supplement would not have been possible. “Leaders in Retail Architecture” continues to be an important part of Shopping Center World's comprehensive coverage of retail architecture and design.
