Howard Perlman founded Perlman Architects, Inc., in Phoenix, Ariz. in 1977.
As the firm's reputation and client base grew, Perlman relocated the office headquarters to Las Vegas, Nev. Today, that headquarters one of the largest and most respected firms in the region. The company offers services around the world with extended offices in Scottsdale, Ariz. and Newport Beach, Calif.
In 2005, with the construction boom in Las Vegas and corresponding growth in projects and clients, Perlman Architects, Inc. continued its expansion and is now known as Perlman Design Group.
Perlman Design Group is a full-service architecture, planning and interior design firm. It has extensive project experience in mixed-use, retail, hospitality, office, single and multi-family residential, industrial, public works and gaming as well as offers services in entitlements, marketing and graphic design.
Perlman Design Group has a diverse and dedicated staff of more than 100 professionals. Its award winning designs and outstanding architectural services are reflected in the firm's vast number of projects that have been successfully completed throughout the U.S. as well as through its emerging international presence.
The District at Green Valley Ranch, one of the most high-demand venues in Southern Nevada was designed by Perlman Design Group. It is the state's very first true lifestyle mixed-use project and was recently awarded the 2005 American Planning Award.
Two recent projects stick out. Boca Park, The Fashion Village is a more than 1-million-square-foot mixed-use center consisting of upscale retail and food venues, residential condo units above retail and office space centered around a Main Street theme and botanical garden. The Great Mall of Las Vegas is a more than 1-million-square-foot hybrid mall with both indoor and outdoor retail components, making it one of the largest retail centers in the state.
