Location: Wesley Chapel, Fla. (north of Tampa, Fla.)

Type: Mixed-use

Size: 835,000 sq. ft. of retail (both big-box and specialty stores), restaurants and entertainment, and 300 residential units.

Completion: Opening in 2007 with construction starting mid-2006

Developer: Pittsburgh-based ECHO Real Estate Services

Architects: Tampa-based Lyman Davidson Dooley Inc.

Tenants: Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods, PetSmart, Ross Stores and an 18-screen Cobb Theaters

Total value: $100 million

Buzz: The Grove is located in fast-growing Pasco County, north of Tampa. Pasco was the 38th fastest growing county in the U.S. between July 2003 and July 2004 with a total population of 408,000. Cornerstone, a subsidiary of MassMutual Financial Group, is also a partner in the project.
