Buzz: Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer — “the beer that made Milwaukee famous” — was until 1996 brewed in a series of buildings dating back to 1862. On that site, Juneau Avenue Partners plans a mixed-use development including an amphitheater, cinema, specialty retail shops, office space and loft apartments. Some 150,000 of the original locally-fired Cream City bricks will be cleaned and restored.
