After weeks of uncertainty surrounding the $650 million redevelopment of Filene's flagship store in Boston, developer John B. Hynes III and partner Vornado Realty Trust secured the necessary financing to proceed with construction on the 1.3-million-square-foot mixed-used project in early October. The development will include retail shops, condominiums, a hotel and offices.
