MIXED USE: The Metropolis

Developers: Capri Capital Partners, LLC and Judson Investment Co.

Architects: Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP

Leasing Agent: CB Richard Ellis

Size: 1 million square feet. The first phase will include 500,000 square feet of space including 330,000 square feet of retail and 102 condominiums. Future phases will add residences and hotel.

Cost: Phase I will cost $155 million

Buzz: The project is located in the Bronzeville/Grand Boulevard community in Chicago. One-fifth of the condominiums will be reserved for low- and moderate-income buyers, earning no more than 80 percent of the area's median per capita income.
