Charlotte-based Hill Partners, Inc., is building Clemmons Town Center, a 540,000-square-foot, open-air lifestyle center, which will be integrated with the city's downtown master plan.
Land Development Resource Group LLC is building Union Cross Town Centre, on 85 acres in the heart of the triad. This project will consist of 244,000 square feet of retail, 100,000 square feet of office space, apartments, 200 villas or town homes, a multiplex cinema and restaurants.
A partnership of local developers Granite Development LLC and Roy Carroll has proposed a $36-million, 800,000-square-foot open-air shopping center on 150 acres south of downtown Greensboro.
Greenville, N.C.-based Brody Co. is building the 400-acre Mayfaire project in Wilmington. The project will include retail, an office park, residences, hotels, parks and undisturbed natural areas. The development is anchored by two retail centers: Mayfaire Town Center, an upscale retail and entertainment district, and Mayfaire Community Center, with 200,000 square feet of necessity shopping services, including an upscale food store.
