The Mall of America was home to the largest gingerbread house ever built — a 67-foot tall creation designed by self-proclaimed “gingerbread artist” Roger Pelcher. The house will be entered into the Guiness Book of World Records. It took nine days to create the 1,496-square-foot house, which consists of 14,250 pounds of gingerbread, 4,750 pounds of icing and one ton of candy decorations. The house was on display from Nov. 24 to Jan. 3.
