Villa Muse and Carpenter & Associates will develop a $1.5 billion, 681-acre mixed-use project in Austin, Texas. The property will feature a 200-acre Villa Muse Studios as its anchor, with a master-planned residential community orbiting the studio camp, and shops, offices and hospitality units leading up to the Studios' entrance. Phase I of the project is scheduled to open by the end of 2008.

A joint venture of Post Properties, Inc. and Lincoln Harris will develop Wade, a mixed-use development in Raleigh, N.C. When completed, the project will feature 150,000 square feet of retail space, 500,000 square feet of class A office space and 1,500 residential units.

Cencor Realty Services will develop West Plano Village, a 15-acre mixed-use property in Plano, Texas. The project will feature a mix of retail, residential and office space in an upscale setting. Ground-breaking is scheduled for late 2007, with completion set for 2009.

Business Condos USA broke ground for phase I of the Lakeside Promenade, a retail condominium shopping center in St. Augustine, Fla. When completed, the entire project will feature 114,896 square feet of space in 11 buildings.

Westminster Funds completed the redevelopment of Riverside Plaza, a 50-year-old, 400,000-square-foot, open-air mall in Riverside, Calif. The property now features 75,000 square feet of additional retail space, California-style architecture with stucco buildings and tile roofs, a town “main street” and a courtyard area for outdoor dining.

White-Spunner Construction, Inc. opened a branch office in Raleigh, N.C. The office will assist in the construction of the 415,000-square-foot Plantation Point Shopping Center. White-Spunner's Raleigh staff includes Jenny Metzger, office manager, Jim Wymann, project manager, and Billy Ford, project manager.

GreenbergFarrow was appointed to oversee the development and construction of 44 new Texas Roadhouse restaurants throughout the United States. The units will each be approximately 7,100 square feet in size.
