PORTLAND — The Staubach Co. opened a retail services office in Portland that will serve the needs of retail real estate clients throughout the region.

The office, located at One World Trade Center, 121 SW Salmon Street, is headed by local real estate veteran Ron Dowhaniuk, who recently joined Staubach as regional director.

"We opened this new office because more of our clients are expanding and locating their stores in Oregon," Roger Staubach, chairman and CEO of the Dallas-based company, said in a statement. "Having a permanent presence here allows us to better serve our clients with expert local representation."

Dowhaniuk has more than 14 years of experience in retail real estate. Among other positions, he previously served as vice president with Trammell Crow's retail services group and as a senior marketing consultant and division leader for the retail properties division of Grubb & Ellis.
