Polo Ralph Lauren hires new corporate communications head

NEW YORK-- Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. announced that Anne Buford has joined the company as vice president of corporate communications.

Buford is responsible for directing the public relations activities across all Polo Ralph Lauren brands.

Buford began her career at VOGUE in 1991 and rose to the position of communications director for the magazine. In that role, she developed and executed VOGUE's press strategy and functioned as spokesperson. She also directed the planning and organization of all editorial special events and projects. Prior to that, she held the title of senior fashion editor for VOGUE.
