Federated appoints Jim Amann to new executive role

Cincinnati – Locally based Federated Department Stores Inc. recently appointed James Amann as executive vice president of strategic initiatives.
In his new role, Amann will lead the analysis and execution of several important strategic initiatives including: merchandising systems development; credit privacy; technology investment; and loyalty programs.
In addition to his new duties, Amann will retain responsibility for the Financial, Administrative and Credit Services (FACS) division and Federated Department Stores (FDS) Bank, the company's federally chartered national bank.
