Gap picks Retek to transform supply chain

MINNEAPOLIS -- Gap Inc. has hired Retek to help decrease supply chain costs and increase customer service across its Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy brands. Gap Inc. will use Retek's planning solutions to optimize pre-season and in-season planning processes across all store formats and its supply chain, Retek announced.

"Retek will help Gap Inc. optimize its supply chain by allowing it to plan at a level no other vendor can effectively provide," explains Duncan Angove, general manager, supply chain solutions, Retek. "With our scalable, integrated planning solution, Retek is helping to fundamentally change the planning process."
