Kmart announces executive promotions

Troy, Mich. – Locally based Kmart Corp. recently promoted Barbara Firment to the position of VP advertising and in-store event marketing and Rick Noechel to VP controller, effective immediately.
Firment will report directly to Doug Meissner, SVP sales and advertising and will oversee the weekly circular, newspaper advertising and in-store events.
Noechel will report directly to John McDonald, Jr., SVP finance and treasurer. Noechel's financial background includes experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers and DaimlerChrysler Corp.
