NCR and Marubeni form joint venture

May 18, 2001 12:00 PM, Misty M. Reagin

Dayton, Ohio – Locally based NCR Corp. and Japanese technology firm Marubeni Corp. have formed a joint venture, Marubeni Network Systems Corp. (MNSC). The joint venture will provide e-business network infrastructure solutions so that businesses in Japan can use the Internet to establish or enhance their e-business presence.

MNSC will initially focus on two key market segments in Japan: helping large multi-tenant office owners provide network connectivity to each of their tenants, and helping companies with multiple store and office locations, such as large retailers, with their networking requirements.
