Cupertino, Calif. – Locally based Apple Computer Inc. plans to open as many as 10 retail stores with the first expected to open in McLean, Va., on May 19. Other cities that might see Apple stores include Bloomington, Minn.; Chicago; Littleton, Colo.; New York City; Palo Alto, Calif.; and Pittsburgh.

Emporis, a global provider of information on building data and
construction projects, revealed the ranking of the world's 10 biggest
malls, based on gross leasable area (GLA). It turns out nine of these
malls are located in Asia, with the two largest located in China.
