Confessions at the mall

Oct 1, 2007 12:00 PM

Since 2001, three Catholic priests have set up a spot at The Citadel Mall in Colorado Springs to hear confessions, according to the Wall Street Journal. The priests, from the Capuchin order, have come to the mall to hear confessions 11 hours a day, six days a week in a small office with a box of Kleenex and a laminated copy of the Ten Commandments. They now hear about 8,000 confessions a year.
